Chair / Co-opted
I joined the governing body in 2014 and have recently been appointed to the role of Chairman.
I am really enjoy supporting the school to provide a great education and to be an exciting and safe place to learn. My daughter Poppy started at the school in 2013 and so I'm getting a pupil and parent view of the school as well as my more formal work with other governors. Poppy, by the way, thinks the school is brilliant!
I was born in St. Albans and did a management degree at Lancaster University. However my real love was always radio and I've worked for the BBC and in commercial radio ever since. For the last 10 years I've been presenting the BBC Sussex breakfast show from our studios in Brighton. Getting up at 4 every morning leaves plenty of time to spend with Poppy and Lanie my wife. I love cycling, running slowly, food, music and food (did I mention food twice? - that's because I really like it!).
