During the Spring Term, Upper Beeding Primary School participated in a 'Maths Fest', a week of activities to celebrate Maths. All the school took part in a variety of Maths related themes linked to different books and activities. Some children also participated in Maths competitions with other schools. At the end of the week children came to school in non-school uniform dressed as a number.
We also held a parents open afternoon to demonstrate different aspects of Maths. Every classroom was open for parents to share their thoughts about Maths and see what their child gets up to during their Maths lessons. Parents were also invited to come into school on the Friday to play Maths games with the children.
