8th May 2017
As I am sure that you are aware, pupils in Year 6 will be taking their end of year assessment tests in the week beginning 9th May. The children have been working really hard to prepare themselves for these tests, but if your child has any questions or requires further guidance please do not hesitate to contact their class teacher.
If your child is ill during the test week, please notify the school office at the earliest opportunity – pupils are able to take the test in school and then return home, or alternative arrangements can be made.
For your information, the timetable below shows the tests that your child will be taking during the week. The tests will be completed during the morning period. At this stage of the year, we feel that it is very important that you re-emphasise to your child about keeping relaxed and simply trying to do their best so that their results reflect the huge amounts of effort that they have put in.
